Agniveer Navy Recruitment 2023 Last Date to Apply

The Indian Navy has released the notification for the Agniveer Navy Recruitment 2023. The last date to apply for the recruitment is June 30, 2023.

The Agniveer Navy Recruitment 2023 is a pan-India recruitment drive for the recruitment of 30,000 Agniveers into the Indian Navy. The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

  • Phase 1: Online registration and application
  • Phase 2: Physical and medical tests

The eligibility criteria for the Agniveer Navy Recruitment 2023 are as follows:

  • Age: 17.5 to 23 years
  • Education: 10th pass or equivalent
  • Height: 157 cm for male candidates and 152 cm for female candidates
  • Weight: 50 kg for male candidates and 45 kg for female candidates
  • Chest: 76 cm for male candidates and 71 cm for female candidates

The selection process for the Agniveer Navy Recruitment 2023 will consist of the following:

  • Online written test
  • Physical fitness test
  • Medical examination
  • Interview

The online written test will be conducted in two phases:

  • Phase 1: Screening test
  • Phase 2: Main test

The screening test will be a computer-based test (CBT) of 100 questions. The questions will be of multiple-choice type and will be based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English. The duration of the screening test will be 60 minutes.

The main test will be a CBT of 200 questions. The questions will be of multiple-choice type and will be based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The duration of the main test will be 120 minutes.

The physical fitness test will consist of the following:

  • 1.6 km run
  • Pull-ups
  • Sit-ups
  • Shuttle run

The medical examination will be conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates. The interview will be conducted to assess the personality and suitability of the candidates.

The selected candidates will be trained for 4 years. After the completion of training, they will be called ‘Agniveers’. The Agniveers will be paid a monthly stipend of ₹30,000. They will also be entitled to other benefits, such as medical facilities, uniform allowance, and leave.

After 4 years, the Agniveers will be released from service. They will be given a ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of ₹11.7 lakh. The ‘Seva Nidhi’ package will be a lump sum amount that can be used for further education, business, or other purposes.
